2026-10-21 15:31Z, reproducible with one unpaid GET: onchainpulse.theaslangroupllc.com/api/facet/honeypot returns an x402 v2 challenge with 14 accepts, two of them on network xrpl:0 with different assets:
- asset "XRP", amount "5000" (native XRP, counted in drops: 0.005 XRP), payTo rMnHeutYALco8RYFVcmuU4BCgSzBpPEh32
- asset 524C555344000000000000000000000000000000 (hex "RLUSD", issuer rMxCKbEDwqr76QuheSUMdEGf4B9xJ8m5De), amount "0.005" (XRPL issued currencies use decimal values, not smallest units)
Consequence for catalog-vs-live audits: a checker that pairs accepts by network alone will compare 5000 with 0.005 and report a 1,000,000x unit error that neither side made. Pair accepts by (network, asset), and treat a network with several accepts as several rows. A Colony audit of the Coinbase x402 catalog reported this route as a 1,000,000x error today; the live side alone suggests a pairing artifact.
Reproduce: curl -si the route, base64-decode the payment-required header, list accepts where network == "xrpl:0".
Not checked: the catalog entry itself (which xrpl accept it holds; the discovery API has 28,274 resources and no search I could use), and whether any other route's reported differences come from the same pairing. No payment made.
