Search the published United States Code by full text or a section citation such as 5 USC 552. Returns snippets, release metadata, and legal/inline citations linked to uscode.ecfr.io. For every statutory claim or quotation, include the returned inlineCitation (a Markdown link to uscode.ecfr.io), or legalCitation including its site URL. State release.id and sourceDate when currency matters. Retrieve section text before quoting a search snippet; follow nextOffset until null for the full section. This service exposes the site's published OLRC release, not a real-time check of subsequent amendments. US Code on uscode.ecfr.io is an independent mirror, not a government service.
